Day 7: Stuck

The creature's head looked stuck, but there isn't anything in the strange room that could possibly help. Across the room, there was another open door to a corridor that could lead him upstairs.

"Hang in there!" He scurried up the flight of stairs and found himself eye to eye with the creature for the first time.

She didn't want to be humiliated like this. Not again.

The last time it happened she was right in the middle of a Gathering. Her girlfriends were understanding, or tried to anyway.

"Oh! No biggie, don't worry about it."

"I heard my cousin's friend's relative has it too. Maybe it goes away when you're older."

"Or even if it doesn't, that's okay too. We don't judge."

She has no idea why it happens and when it will happen again. And there is no way of knowing how long it will last this time. Thankfully, this time, it was just at home, and the only person witnessing this was just a human boy.

I'll take care of him later... right after I get unstuck. Ughhh.. But how?

Her head was now jammed up in the floorboards of her attic while the rest of her is still in the room below, her arms flailing helplessly. She could feel the boy running up the steps.

"Hh..hhello." The boy huffed, breathless.

"Who the hell are you and why did you disturb my sleep? Now look what you got me into!"

"Um, I'm Louie."
