Epilogue

The forest was lit brightly by the beams of a full moon that night. Cicadas chirped loudly, accompanied by the heavy dull rumble of stone wheels of an approaching wooden cart. Mr Pronobo has been pushing it all the way from Knackersville, sweat dripping down his forehead.

"We're almost there, Rinalda."

He came to a stop at the same spot of the forest clearing where he was at earlier with the gang, except this time he knew what he had to do. He pulled the purple silk cloth from the cart, unveiling a life-sized stone statue of a lady.

Looking up at the trees, he spoke, "We came here to apologise."
